Save our railway ticket offices
Rail firms have announced plans for the mass closure of England’s ticket offices.
Train operators have proposed to shut down almost all of the 1,007 remaining offices, bar at the busiest stations, within three years.
Rail ticket offices, such as our local ones here in Wiltshire, like Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge are a lifeline for so many passengers, particularly those who are elderly or disabled and those who are visitors.
Sarah Gibson is calling on these plans to be stopped and for our ticket offices to be saved.
