George Simmonds elected in Pewsham By-Election

The Liberal Democrats continue to perform well in Chippenham with another gain on theTown Council. LibDem candidate George Simmonds has won a seat on the town council following the Pewsham by-election taking over 45% of the vote.

Fellow Pewsham Lib Dem councillor, Clare Cape said: "I'm delighted that George is joining the Liberal Democrat team on Chippenham Town Council; he'll be an asset to the council and most importantly I know that he'll will work hard for Pewsham residents."
