Emails have been sent, inviting Lib Dem members to apply to be a Lib Dem candidate for Wiltshire Council in May 2025.

Are There Any Other Conditions
Wiltshire Liberal Democrats maintain a list of "Approved Candidates", from which Liberal Democrat candidates for Wiltshire Council are selected. This involves an application and an interview by a panel of 3 local Liberal Democrats.
Only people on the "Liberal Democrats Wiltshire Council Approved Candidates List" can be considered for selection to stand as a Liberal Democrat for Wiltshire Council.
If you are not yet approved, then you can apply for approval now (or when you apply for selection).

2 - Fill in each document.
3 - Attach the completed forms to an email and send them to: ruth.hopkinson@gmail.com or post to Wiltshire Steering Group at 17 St Mary’s Place Chippenham, SN15 1EN.
4 - You will then be called to an interview panel, who will interview you to confirm your suitability to be a Liberal Democrat Candidate for Wiltshire Council.

Q1: If I am approved, can I stand for Wiltshire Council as a Liberal Democrat?
A1: Not automatically! The selection process for each individual seat will be advertised in due course. Only Approved Candidates may apply to be considered for each Wiltshire Council seat.
